A truly exciting follow-up to a day already full of wonderful DC/CW news!
TVLine reports that fan-favorite Pumkinhead actor and narrator of FX TV’s the Strain, Lance Henriksen (also known for such films as Dog Day Afternoon, Damien:Omen II, TV’s Ryan’s Hope and Cagney & Lacey, and the blockbuster movie Alien 3). has been cast as DC Comics character “Obsidian” on “Legends of Tomorrow”.
Although Mr. Henriksen has an earthy baritone voice, there’s no news yet as to whether he’ll be involved in DC/CW’s two-part musical crossover episodes this season.
“Obsidian” is a regular member of The Justice Society of America, and has the power to manipulate darkness...
Mr. Henriksen is a national treasure, which of course should make anyone’s unfamiliarity with the Obsidian character a moot point.
Legends of Tomorrow returns to the airwaves on CW Network, October 13th, 8 PM EST.
