Given the aura of finality that’s settled over the Giz sites for the last couple of days (not to mention everything else going on right now), I thought I’d try something different with the usual All Saints Day post — the earliest performance of the song, from 1972 (note that a whole verse is missing), and the most recent, from just over three weeks ago. Think of them in the Blakean sense as a Song of Innocence and a Song of Experience. Somewhere between them lies the Preview.
